MEET THE CREW
So why horses?
When people hear that I photograph horses, they usually ask, “Why horses?” or “How did that start?”
Horses have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. One pony ride turned into lessons, barn days, and doing whatever chores I could to spend more time riding. Eventually, I got my first horse—Snickers—and she was everything.
We had five years together before life took us in different directions. I have very few photos of us, and that’s something I still feel deeply. Wanting those memories—those quiet, meaningful moments—is a big part of why I do what I do today.
While horses look different in my daily life now, photographing clients and their horses keeps that connection close. Being trusted to capture such a unique bond is something I don’t take lightly, and I’m truly grateful for it.
